The Roblox listing for [PUBLIC TEST!] Vampire life says you may begin as a Human or awaken as a Natural-Born Vampire. Humans can still be turned later. Natural-Born Vampires are described as having greater potential and power. Leveling raises strength, abilities, and the chance of becoming an Original. No level threshold or percentage for that chance is published.
Check the spawn screen
September 2026 write-ups do not fully agree on the opening choice. The listing and most path guides say Human or Natural-Born Vampire. Other copy describes starting as a vampire, or as a hunter clearing the map with wooden stakes who can later be infected. Open the character screen in your server and use what it actually offers.
| Start | What is documented | Practical first move |
|---|---|---|
| Human | Can be turned by another player later. Neck snap did not work in footage while Human. | Do outdoor quests while the sun is harmless, then turn near a building. |
| Natural-Born Vampire | Greater potential from the start. You begin already a vampire. | Treat sunlight as a hazard immediately and learn feed and shelter. |
| Hunter-with-stakes | Mentioned in some September guides, not on the official listing. | Only plan around it if that option is on your spawn screen. |
Do daylight work before you turn
Recorded September walkthroughs of this public test treat the Human phase as the easy Money and XP window. Villager and NPC quests pay while you can still walk in the sun. One recorded villager interaction paid about 500 Money. That figure is a single observation, not a rate card.
Redeem an XP code before a long quest or hunt, not after you are stuck indoors. Active strings and expired history are on the codes page. A multiplier only helps while you are earning XP.
Turn next to shelter
The turning shown across recordings is player-to-player: a vampire bites or transforms a living Human. It is not a shop purchase. In one clip the Human was knocked down in a fight and stood up as a vampire with Compulsion available. The exact button was not on screen.
Sunlight becomes dangerous after you are a vampire. In those recordings, standing in the street in daytime is how new vampires die. Buildings and the vampire castle were the shelters players used. City guards were shown killing a low-level player in one hit, so leave the city if a guard closes in.
If nobody will turn you, a separate single recording describes a witch path: search the map for a book that spawns in a random place and make the pact there. That book route was not repeated in a second recording, so treat the spawn as reported. The full witch ladder is in Witch ranks and Pain Affliction.
After the turn
- Feed on players, or buy blood bags with Money. A blood meter that has to be maintained shows up in walkthrough footage.
- Neck snap was bound to Q in one fight and did not work for that same player as a Human.
- The vampire sleep move on B was described in a September developer-update recap as slow AFK XP.
- Shop Money into survival gear before cosmetics. One recording refused a cape because it required level 100.
Death, ghost re-rolls, and the castle respawn are a separate problem. Read Death, ghosts, and getting back in before you assume a server hop will save the run.
What not to build around yet
Original odds, age speed, per-level XP, and most ability unlock levels are not published. A October 2 race article gives percentages, Gold prices, and a werewolf that is "not in the game." September footage on this same public test shows players selecting werewolf, and the shop currency in the code and merchant write-ups is Money. Use the spawn screen and your ability bar, not that percentage table.
